CySEC imposes €50k fine on Broctagon Prime
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) today announced a a €50,000 settlement with Broctagon Prime Ltd.
The settlement covers possible violations of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017, as amended (the «Law») by the firm.
More specifically, the investigation for which the settlement was reached involved assessing the company’s compliance, which during the third quarter of 2021, may have acted in violation of the articles 25(1) and 25(3)(a) of the Law, regarding the general principles and information to clients.
The settlement amounts to €50,000. The company settled the amount of €50,000.
All amounts payable relating to settlement agreements are considered revenue (income) of the Treasury of the Republic and do not constitute income of CySEC.
