CySEC announces €90k settlement with Titanedge Securities
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) today announced that a settlement has been reached with the Cyprus investment firm Titanedge Securities Ltd.
The settlement concerns possible violations of Τhe Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017. More specifically, the investigation for which the settlement was reached, involved assessing the company’s compliance, for the period of October 2022 to July 2023 with article 25(1) and article 25(3) of the Law, as specified in article 44 of the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2017/565, regarding the general principles and information addressed to clients.
The settlement reached with the company is for the amount of €90,000, which Titanedge Securities has already paid.
It is noted that the amounts due to settlement agreements are calculated as revenue (income) to the Treasury of the Republic and do not constitute income of CySEC.
