Rakuten Securities to offer trading on MT4 Web platform to its clients
Japanese online trading company Rakuten Securities today announced its plans to introduce the MT4 Web platform.
Effective December 27, 2021, the broker will release MT4 Web, which will allow FX and CFD trading via a web browser. Rakuten clients can use the platform without installation, which is one of its biggest advantages over the traditional desktop version.
MT4 Web provides fans of technical analysis with access to 30 types of technical indicators. The supported orders include Limit / Stop Order, IFD / IDO order, as well as One-click order.
Please note that EA (Expert Advisors) are not available on MT4 Web.
Rakuten Securities is among the handful of brokers offering MetaTrader 4 (MT4) in Japan. Other companies that offer trading on MT4 in Japan are Forex.com Japan, OANDA Japan and Dukascopy Japan. Monex, for instance, dropped MT4 years ago.
Rakuten Securities also offers trading on the MARKETSPEED platform. In May 2021, the broker bolstered the performance of its desktop trading platform MARKETSPEED II by upgrading the servers for the platform. In particular, the number of servers supporting the platform has been increased.
Thanks to the upgrade, the response time when updating the screen has been reduced. Also, response times for chart transitioning have been improved. Especially when trading is crowded, the response at the time of closing is improved, and a more comfortable trading environment is thus provided.
