Online broker eToro has launched Hide Portfolio Sensitive Info, a new feature that lets traders mask their balance across all key areas of the app, including the Homepage, Portfolio, and Watchlist.

Instead of flashing numbers, users of the eToro app will see little sparkling stars.

To make use of the new feature, tap the eye icon next to your balance on the home page to hide or reveal it. The setting stays active even after you close the app or switch between devices – unless you turn it off.

The key benefits of the feature include the ability to keep your portfolio private in public and to hide your balance across the entire app. The setting stays active between sessions and devices.
