Cboe announces further enhancements to Cboe Silexx
Cboe today announced further enhancements to Cboe Silexx, a multi-asset order execution management system (OEMS) that caters to the professional marketplace.
Version 23.1 of the platform adds a new module within News. The new module displays headlines sourced from The Fly on The Wall.
Option Chain, COB, and Charting module tab headers now dynamically update to reflect the represented underlying security, helping to more quickly identify tab contents.
For derived orders of staged parents, Multi Order Ticket now displays the parent’s order ID and summary order attributes. The addition is intended to provide an additional layer of confidence and potentially help reduce trade errors.
Cboe regularly updates Silexx. The enhancements in a recent release include Option Chain displaying trading and volatility halts for the selected underlying. A tooltip will display the exchange’s halt reason code.
Manually entered order receive times are now available in Order Manager and Order History
Selected positions in Portfolio can now be opened in Basket Trader. An option in the right-click menu to “Open in Basket Trader” has been added, making closing of positions easier.
Portfolio and Watchlist modules now include earnings and dividend info for underlyings.
Defaulting of contra-side accounts for crossing orders is now available in Settings. The Application’s clock now displays weekend, holiday, and early close information. The ability to create and save custom option strategies for price tracking has been added in the Watchlist.
