Barclays is renaming its Smart Investor platform to Digital Investing.

Barclays explained that the change concerns only the name of the platform. There is no change to the service or the way our customers invest with Barclays.

The company commented:

“The new name reflects our focus on delivering a more integrated and straightforward digital investing experience. All existing accounts, investments and features remain the same”.

Customers will start to see the new name rolled out across Barclays channels in the coming weeks.
