FNG has learned that UK online broker CMC Markets (LON:CMCX) has hired experienced institutional sales and business development executive Sidney James, for a senior Institutional Sales – eFX & CFDs role.

Sidney James, who is based in London, joins CMC after spending the past four years with the FCA-regulated UK arm of CFDs broker Vantage, as Business Development Manager for Vantage UK. Vantage UK is now scaling back its operations, with the recent departures of longtime CEO David Shayer and compliance head Mansoor Mushtaq.

Prior to his time at Vantage, Sidney previously worked at CrescoFX, AETOS, and City Credit Capital.
