OFX directors resolve to appoint Patricia Cross as new Chair
International money services provider OFX Group Limited (ASX:OFX) announces the results of its Annual General Meeting.
With effect from the conclusion of the AGM, Steve Sargent has retired as Chair and resigned as a director of OFX. The directors have resolved to appoint Patricia Cross as the new Chair of OFX.
Patricia Cross is a highly experienced Non-Executive Director and Chair. She is currently a director at Transurban Limited, Member of the Board of Guardians of The Future Fund and an ambassador for the Australian Indigenous Education Foundation (AIEF).
Mrs Cross has held several senior executive roles in the financial services industry and was one of the founders of the original OTC derivatives markets.
Mrs Cross held previous director appoints at Aviva plc, Macquarie Group, National Australia Bank Limited, Wesfarmers Limited, Qantas Airways Limited, AMP Limited, Suncorp Metway Limited, the Grattan Institute, Chair of Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation and Chair of Qantas Superannuation Limited
She has held honorary government positions including as a founding member of the Financial Sector Advisory Council and has served on several not for profit boards including the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. She is a Life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and founding Chair of the 30% Club in Australia.
