IEX Group announces the appointment of Craig Resnick as Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Mr Resnick will lead all financial functions for IEX, including accounting, audit, tax, treasury, corporate finance and investor relations.
Mr Resnick was elevated to the role of CFO after serving two years as the head of IEX’s finance and accounting team. He has more than 20 years’ experience working with high-growth companies in financial services and has deep expertise in accounting, auditing, budgeting and capital markets transactions.
As CFO, Mr Resnick joins IEX’s leadership team and will report to the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of IEX, Brad Katsuyama. He succeeds Sara Furber, who served as CFO of IEX since 2018.
“We are thrilled to elevate Craig Resnick to the role as Chief Financial Officer for IEX,” said IEX Co-Founder and CEO Brad Katsuyama.
“Since Craig joined us in 2019 as Head of Finance, he has displayed a deep commitment to IEX and its mission, has built a world-class team, and has proven to be an exceptional leader. We are also excited for Sara to take the next step in her career and wish her much success in her new role. IEX is a stronger company because of her contributions.”
Mr Resnick joined IEX from Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), where he was Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasurer, responsible for all global financial planning and accounting functions. Prior to GLG, Mr Resnick was Assistant Controller for Liquidnet, where he gained a deep understanding of finance and accounting principles for capital markets firms. He has also held senior financial advisory roles at Aon Consulting and Kroll Associates where he focused on forensic accounting and litigation consulting.
Craig Resnick began his career at Ernst & Young as an auditor in their Technology, Communications and Entertainment division.
“IEX is an exceptional team on a mission to reimagine how markets can work for all investors and, more broadly, how financial technology can accelerate economic growth in a responsible and equitable way. I’m honored to play a larger role helping IEX grow as CFO,” said Craig Resnick of his appointment to CFO of IEX.
