Georgios Vasiliou tapped to replace Costas Michael as CEO of Revolut Cyprus
Following our FNG Exclusive report from yesterday, that longtime Revolut Cyprus CEO Costas Michael has stepped down from his position, FNG has learned that Revolut has tapped another CFDs industry executive, Georgios Vasiliou, as the new CEO.
Georgios Vasiliou was previously CEO of Trading.com, and spent more than 12 years with the Trading Point group (operators of the Trading.com and XM.com online trading brands) before leaving Trading.com earlier this summer, as was also reported exclusively at the time here at FNG.
Georgios will formally serve as CEO of Revolut’s Cyprus based, MiCA-licensed entity, Revolut Digital Assets (Europe) Ltd. The Cyprus entity offers crypto trading services to UK neobank Revolut retail customers throughout the EEA region.
