CFDs broker Traze hires Bassem Abdou as Director of BizDev
FNG has learned that Retail FX and CFDs broker Traze has continued a 2026 hiring spree, adding Bassem Abdou as Director of Business Development.
Bassem Abdou, who is based in Dubai, joins Traze after serving in a similar role for OneRoyal for the past year. He previously spent eight years at Kuwait based fintech firm SwissFS, as Regional Manager Business Development in the UAE. Bassem also worked at trading software firm BMFN for eight years.
Other Traze hires this year have included ICM.com executive George Nazih Girgis as VP BizDev, Murilo de Oliveira (ex HFM) as LATAM Country Manager, GO Markets exec Naeem Afzal as Managing Director in Dubai, Equiti alum Ahmed Pasha to head risk and trading, and Sanjay Malviya from Hantec to head India sales.
Traze is part of London based Zeal Group, and is operated mainly from Dubai. Group subsidiaries hold licenses from the UAE CMA (Category One), South Africa FSCA, as well as an FCA license in the UK (under the ZFX brand), and also operates an offshore entity in Seychelles. Traze and Zeal Group are controlled by Chinese national Yun Chen.
