Exclusive: Former IG Group CRO Andrew Bole joins board of Trading 212 UK
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that former longtime IG Group Chief Risk Officer Andrew Bole has rejoined the Retail FX sector, this time as a non-executive board member at Trading 212 UK Limited.
The appointment is effective as of October 31.
Trading 212 UK is the FCA regulated arm of Bulgaria based Retail FX, CFDs and shares brokerage group Trading212, controlled by Bulgarian nationals Ivan Ashminov and Borislav Nedialkov. The mobile-focused broker reports that its mobile app has more than 14,000,000 downloads (the Google Play Store confirms 10M+ downloads, with a 4.5 start rating from 68,000 reviews), which makes it one of the most popular trading apps in the world and the UK’s #1 trading app.
Andrew Bole was as noted the Chief Risk Officer (or CRO) at UK industry leading online brokerage IG Group (LON:IGG) for 15 years, from 2000-2015. After leaving IG he joined prime broker GPP Group as the company’s COO. After leaving GPP in late 2018 he joined Schroders Personal Wealth as Head of Process, leaving in September 2020. Mr. Bole holds Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Newcastle University.
