FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Retail FX and CFDs broker TIOmarkets has named Andis Papageorgiou as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Andis Papageorgiou, who is based in Cyprus, joined TIOmarkets earlier this year as Head of Software Engineering, and was now named CTO. Prior to TIOmarkets, Andis spent six years at leading online broker IC, ending his tenure at IC late last year as Global Head of Engineering.

TIOmarkets operates an onshore FCA regulated business (at website tiomarkets.uk), as well as an offshore unit domiciled in Mwali (tiomarkets.com). The group recently shut its EU-facing operation at tiomarkets.eu, after renouncing its CySEC CIF license for Tiomarkets CY Ltd. TIOmarkets is run by Cyprus based Group CEO Stefanos Mitsi. TIOmarkets is controlled by Malaysian businessman Manmohan Singh Balbir Singh, who also owns Cyprus based Retail FX broker FXPrimus.
