FNG Exclusive… Continuing the expansion of its offering to include non-crypto products for trading, FNG has learned digital asset trading platform Crypto.com has tapped experienced FX and CFDs industry executive Michael Floros as General Manager of its operations in Cyprus.

Michael Floros spent the past eight years as Executive Director and General Manager of CySEC CIF licensed company AN Allnew Investments Ltd, and of its LegacyFX online trading brand. Crypto.com acquired AN Allnew Investments Ltd, along with its CySEC license, earlier this year, which as noted will allow Crypto.com to offer regulated trading throughout the EU in non-crypto products such as CFDs on a variety of financial instruments. (LegacyFX now operates as an offshore Mauritius domiciled broker).

Crypto.com also recently acquired ASIC licensed broker Fintek Securities Pty Ltd in Australia, in a similar move to expand its licensed non-crypto offering to clients.

We had reported over the past few months that Crypto.com was clearly making a major push into the CFDs brokerage business, hiring a number of (mainly ex IG Group) executives in several locations including new Crypto.com VP of Organic Growth Chris Old, Capital Markets head Kevin Algeo, Alex Ratford as Partnerships head, and former Saxo Bank marketing executive Nicolò Pagliari as VP of Growth and Media.

I’m excited to share that a new chapter has begun in my career as the Executive Director and General Manager at Crypto.com’s operations in Cyprus!

We aim to offer a broad range of financial instruments by providing Cross Border Investment & Ancillary Services across 27 Member States of the European Economic Area (EEA) and Cyprus – operating under a Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) License, fully authorized by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC), under the MiFID II regulatory framework.
