FNG has learned that crypto trading platform Crypto.com has hired London based executive Alex Ratford, as Global VP of Growth Partnerships.

Alex Ratford spent the past four years at leading UK online broker IG Group, serving as Global Marketing Partnership Lead and later as Global Head of Marketing Partnerships for IG. Following an organisational restructuring in mid 2024, Alex was named Marketing Partnerships Lead – Europe and Emerging Markets before leaving IG Group earlier this year, as was exclusively reported at the time here at FNG.

Like several of its crypto exchange and brokerage brethren, Crypto.com has been making strides towards adding non crypto instruments trading including CFDs. Late last year Crypto.com bought ASIC licensed CFDs broker Fintek in Australia.
