FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that social trading focused online broker eToro has hired FX industry veteran Jason Hughes, as its new Senior Executive Officer in the UAE.

eToro recently received in-principle approval to operate as an investment broker in the Abu Dhabi Global Market, and will be looking to expand its footprint in the UAE and MENA region from this new base.

Jason Hughes joins eToro from Exinity, where he had a similar role for the Cyprus based Retail FX and CFDs broker. He joined Exinity last year after serving as Global Head of Retail Sales and then Global Head of Sales at UAE based forex conglomerate ADSS from 2017-2020, leaving ADSS at the beginning of the COVID pandemic. Prior to ADSS Jason worked at CMC Markets where he was Head of Singapore from 2013-2017. He began his online trading sector career at IG in 2005, rising to become Head of Premium Client Management in Singapore at IG.
