GCEX sees 5% decline in 2025 Revenues to £4.15M, Net Loss grows to £1.45M
Following our report from back in May that its FCA regulated UK entity GC Exchange Limited saw declining Revenues and a Net Loss in 2025, digital prime broker GCEX has released the results for its main GCEX Holding Limited entity, showing a similar trend for the overall company.
In addition to owning GC Exchange Limited, GCEX Holding Limited also holds Denmark licensed entity GC Exchange A/S, and GC Exchange FZE in Dubai.
Overall, GCEX reported group Revenues of £4.15 million (USD $5.5 million), down by 5% from £4.35 million in 2024. 2024’s Net Loss of £702K more than doubled to a Loss of £1.45 million ($1.9 million) in 2025.
Business review
The Group reported turnover of £4.15 million for the 12-month period (2024: £4.35 million), a decrease of approximately 5% on the prior year (stated on a consolidated basis, eliminating intercompany recharges), reflecting a reduction in trading activity during the period.
On the cost side overheads remained elevated, principally reflecting acquisition-related and integration costs following the GlobalBlock acquisition in September 2025 together with continued investment in trading technology, resulting in a loss before tax of £1.45m for the year (2024: loss before tax of £0.71m).
Trading conditions across both the financial products and digital asset markets continued to improve during 2025, in particular for the spot crypto business. The Group has continued to develop new products and invest in its trading technology while managing overheads carefully. The acquisition of GlobalBlock further strengthened the Group’s digital asset proposition and client base, and the Board expects the positive revenue trend to continue into the current year.
