Exclusive: David Freeman replaces Zuzana Hashemi as CEO of GS Securities
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Dubai based offshore CFDs broker GS Securities has seen some changes in its senior management ranks, including the departure of longtime executive and CEO Zuzana Hashemi, and the appointment of a new CEO.
New CEO David Freeman
GS Securities, formerly known as Goldstone Group, has appointed David Freeman (pictured above) as its new CEO. David joined GS Securities in 2024 as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Prior to his time at GS Securities, David had held senior roles at a number of payments and FX firms including Markets Direct, DRFQ, FX.IM (now CDAX), GCEX, FIXI, Central FX, and First Rate FX.
Zuzana Hashemi

Zuzana Hashemi had been with the Goldstone Group since 2016, starting as a Senior Lawyer with the group’s then-CySEC licensed entity Goldenburg Group Ltd (Goldenburg Group Ltd has requested voluntary renunciation of its CySEC license, following a series of hefty fines levied against the company by CySEC).
At various times Zuzana headed different business units in the Goldstone Group, including acting as CEO of broker regulatory advisor Capedis DMCC, FCA regulated Black Pearl Securities Ltd which operates the BP Prime brokerage brand, and most recently the group’s main offshore (Saint Lucia domiciled) CFDs brokerage GS Securities.
We understand that Zuzana is now running her own strategic legal and regulatory advisory firm for CFD brokers and crypto firms, called Harlyz.
Also departing GS Securities is its Head of Partnerships, Freddie Price. Freddie Price joined Goldstone / GS Securities in early 2025 from outside “the industry”, following a career as a golf pro.
About GS Securities
