Exclusive: United Fintech hires Droit / IHS Markit alum Stuart Billingham as Head of APAC
FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Christian Frahm’s banktech and brokertech umbrella firm United Fintech has taken a major step toward expanding its business from Europe into Asia, hiring Stuart Billingham as Head of APAC.
Stuart will be based in Singapore for United Fintech.
Stuart Billingham joins London and Copenhagen based United Fintech with more than 25 years of leadership and commercial experience across APAC, EMEA and the US, including a decade at IHS Markit building two multimillion-dollar businesses from Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan. Most recently Stuart was Global Head of Consortia at regulatory and compliance solutions provider Droit, where he worked with leading financial institutions to bring industry-wide solutions to market.
His career began in trading and operations roles at Nomura and the London Stock Exchange, giving him a broad view across global financial markets.
Stuart also serves as a Non-Executive Director at Singapore based Employee Lifecycle Management company Avvanz.
In his new role at United Fintech, Stuart will lead commercial strategy and go-to-market activity across APAC, working with major financial institutions to drive growth, strengthen client partnerships and accelerate the adoption of innovative financial technology. As United Fintech looks to deepen its presence across the region, home to highly valued clients and relationships, his experience will be central to how the company and its various brands serve them and shape what comes next in APAC.
