FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that UAE based Retail FX and CFDs brokerage group CFI has hired Karim Malas, as its new Global Head of Operations.

Karim Malas joins CFI from rival MENA focused broker Amana Capital, where he was Director of Operations for the past two years. He originally joined Amana in 2014, as a Customer Service Manager.

CFI has made a number of senior executive moves in recent months, including the hiring of FXPrimus executive Stelios Thrasyvoulou as CTO, former BDSwiss exec Loukia Christoforou to head Project Management, and the addition of Mr. Malas’ former boss, former Amana Capital CEO Ahmad Khatib, who now serves as a CFI Board Advisor. CFI also saw the departure earlier this month of COO Demetrios Zamboglou to startup broker Doto.
