CFI COO Demetrios Zamboglou departs for CEO role at startup broker Doto

FNG has learned that CFI Financial Group COO Demetrios Zamboglou has left the company, and joined a startup Retail FX and CFDs broker called Doto. He will become Doto’s new CEO.

Doto, an app-based broker, was established in 2019 and received a CySEC CIF license in 2021 (as Vasby Capital Markets Limited). The company is ultimately controlled by Russian businessman Timur Nemishov, a resident of Cyprus.

Demetrios Zamboglou joined CFI as its COO in 2020. Prior to CFI he was European CEO and Global Chief Business Development Officer at crypto exchange Lykke Corp, established by former OANDA Chairman Richard Olsen. He has also held senior management positions at FXTM, Forex Club, and Alpari.
