FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Retail FX and CFDs broker Capital.com is continuing its hiring spree under new CEO Peter Hetherington, adding Behrouz Bayat as the company’s new Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Behrouz Bayat joins Capital.com from outside the FX and CFDs sector. He was most recently Senior Director, Office of the President at Sweden based mobile gaming developer King Games, most famous for its popular Candy Crush game. Behrouz was part of Candy Crush’s core leadership team, leading cross-functional teams working on innovative new systems and providing strategic leadership to a distributed product organization across Stockholm, Berlin and Barcelona. Behrouz was also previously Head of Product – WHAT Games at Paris based Gameloft.

Other recent hires at Capital.com under its new management team include Tim Plummer (ex IG) as Head of Product Strategy, Sales Manager Michael Going (ex LMAX, IG), and Chief Product Officer Dana Massey.

Capital.com operates licensed subsidiaries in the UK, Cyprus (serving the EU), and Australia. The company, and its sister brands crypto trading platform Currency.com and soon-to-be-launched share trading site Shares.com, are controlled by British tech entrepreneur Victor Prokopenya.
