FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Retail FX and CFDs broker Capital.com and its new CEO Peter Hetherington are continuing to reshape the company’s management team, with Mr. Hetherington once again tapping one of his former colleagues at IG Group (LON:IGG) for a key role at Capital.com.

The latest ex-IG hire at Capital.com is Tim Plummer, who joins as Head of Product Strategy. Tim Plummer worked at IG for eight years, from 2014-2022, ending his tenure there earlier this summer as Head of Integrated Trading Platforms and also Head of Platform Innovation. He spent a few months between leaving IG and now joining Capital.com at crypto savings and spending app company Zumo, as Head of Trading.

Other recent hires at Capital.com include Sales Manager Michael Going (ex LMAX, IG), and Chief Product Officer Dana Massey.

Capital.com operates licensed subsidiaries in the UK, Cyprus (serving the EU), and Australia. The company, and its sister brands crypto trading platform Currency.com and soon-to-be-launched share trading site Shares.com, are controlled by British tech entrepreneur Victor Prokopenya.
