In the second quarter of 2026, CME Group will introduce the new Mass Quote Protection (MQP) Session Linking functionality for all CME Globex options on futures.

This enhancement provides comprehensive risk mitigation by allowing firms to link multiple sessions under the same CME Globex Firm ID (GFID). When an MQP event is triggered, protection actions are automatically extended across all associated sessions within the linked group.

When an MQP trigger occurs in any linked session, the following actions will be executed across all associated sessions:

• CME Globex will automatically cancel the resting quotes for all linked sessions.
• CME Globex will reject any newly submitted Mass Quote messages from all linked sessions.

Subsequent submitted Mass Quote messages will be processed after each linked session sends a Mass Quote message with a “reset” instruction.

The new MQP Session Linking is currently available for customer testing in New Release.

Certification is not required to use the new MQP Session Linking functionality.
