Effective trade date August 3, 2026, Cboe EDGX Options Exchange will be adding a new Order Handler cabinet.

Effectively immediately, Options Members can pre-order ports for the new cabinet within the Logical Port Request Tool in the Cboe Customer Web Portal by selecting the “Pre-Order New EDGX Options Cabinet” checkbox.

The following port types will be available in the new cabinet:

• FIX Logical Port
• BOE Logical Port
• BOE Quote
• BOE Purge
• FIX Purge.

Pre-ordered ports will be created on July 31, 2026. At that time, the Cboe Trade Desk will provide port login information and IPs to Members. While exact port details will not be shared until July 31, 2026, Members can prepare for the subnet range of 174.136.184.0/25 for the new cabinet.

The EDGX production system will be available on Saturday, August 1, 2026 for Members wishing to test their new ports. Members may cancel existing sessions up until 5:30 p.m. ET on Friday, July 31, 2026, and those sessions will be removed prior to start of the August billing month.

To ensure a port is created in the new cabinet, a port must be ordered during the pre-order period. Pre-orders will only be accepted until 4:00 p.m. ET on July 31, 2026. After the pre-order window has closed, Cboe will no longer accept orders for a specific order handler cabinet and all new ports requested will be allocated using the standard algorithm which maximizes a firm’s distribution across all servers.
