SEC suspends trading in securities of Digatrade Financial Corporation
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced the temporary suspension of trading in the securities of Digatrade Financial Corporation (DIGAF), of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The suspension starts at 9:30 a.m. EDT on June 27, 2022, and is set to end at 11:59 p.m. EDT on July 11, 2022.
The Commission temporarily suspended trading in the securities of fintech firm DIGAF because of inaccurate and incomplete information in the market concerning: materially false and misleading information in Digatrade SEC filings concerning its President’s ownership and control over Digatrade stock, misleading promotional efforts by the President to induce others to purchase Digatrade stock at a time when the President was selling Digatrade stock and potential market manipulation beginning in May of 2014 and continuing through at least February 2018.
The materially false and misleading information concerning Digatrade has not been corrected.
The SEC cautions broker-dealers, shareholders, and prospective purchasers that they should carefully consider the foregoing information along with all other currently available information and any information subsequently issued by the company.
