Version 1.1.6 enables traders to manage their IBKR Price Alerts directly from their connected AI platform without switching applications. Simply ask your AI assistant to create, view, update, pause, resume, or delete Price Alerts on your account, all through the chat interface.

Also, traders can stay up to date with the latest enhancements and upcoming features. Ask your AI assistant, “What’s new?” to learn about recently released functionality and what IBKR is currently working on.

IBKR clients can connect their accounts to supported AI platforms, such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok, through the IBKR Connector available in each platform’s app store or integration marketplace.

Once connected, users can ask questions in natural language and receive personalized responses based on their account data. For example:

• “What’s my P&L today?”
• “The market is volatile. How can I make my portfolio more defensive?”

The AI platform uses information from the connected IBKR account to provide relevant insights and responses, leveraging the capabilities of the user’s chosen large language model (LLM). This enables clients to interact with their account data conversationally and access information more efficiently.

Interactive Brokers’ clients can now connect their IBKR account to any AI application that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP). In addition to the official IBKR connectors available on ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok, this allows traders to use their IBKR account with a wide range of AI tools, including Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT Workspaces, and more.
