FNG Exclusive… FNG has learned that Geo Nicolaidis, Executive Director of the Cyprus office of leading Retail FX and CFDs broker Deriv.com, is leaving the company.

Geo Nicolaidis has been with Deriv.com since 2022, with the dual role of heading the broker’s office in Cyprus as well as serving as DevOps Manager and more recently Technical Product Owner AI Automations, building and deploying AI automation tools across multiple departments for the Malta based and licensed broker.

Prior to his time at Deriv.com, Geo had worked at FXGT.

Geo posted the following note today on social media regarding his departure from Deriv.com.

May 29th will mark my last day at Deriv. After much reflection, I’ve decided it’s time to move on.

Running the Cyprus office and building products has been a privilege, and what I’ll remember isn’t the office itself, it’s the people. The team I had the chance to build and work with day to day, the colleagues across Deriv who became friends, the people I met because of this role who I wouldn’t have met otherwise.

I’m keeping what’s next quiet for now, but I’m genuinely looking forward to it. A chance to follow what I’m most passionate about: building products, and Bitcoin. More when the time is right.
