Cypriot regulator withdraws Crowdbase license
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) announces that, at its meeting held on January 27, 2025, it has decided to withdraw the Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) authorisation of Crowdbase Ltd.
The withdrawal is made pursuant to section 8(1)(a) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017 and section 4(7) of the Directive DI87-05. The regulator notes the company’s decision to expressly renounce its license.
The website of the firm is still active at the time of writing of this article. According to the website, Crowdbase offers opportunities to invest in start-ups and real estate.
