E*Trade facilitated its highest derivative volume day of all time in September, achieving a record 433,000 derivative DARTs on September 4.
Overall, E*Trade found that over half of young investors indicate they are trading more frequently since the outbreak.
E*Trade noted that trading volume has increased so far in August, with DARTs of 1,084,000 through August 12, 2020.
The all-share transaction will see E*Trade shareholders receive 1.0432 shares of Morgan Stanley common stock for each ETFC share.
E*TRADE is in process of being acquired by investment banking firm Morgan Stanley for about $11 billion.
