SGX FX hires EBS Direct head Hugh Whelan to run liquidity and data strategy

Based in London, Hugh Whelan will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of SGX FX’s liquidity provider client segment.

EBS today announced an update to its liquidity provider eligibility criteria for EBS Direct, its relationship-based quote-driven market.

Customers trading on EBS Direct will benefit from enhanced processing times – below 50 microseconds – on the new platform.
