OANDA Japan to stop handling of INDIA50 index
OANDA Japan, a subsidiary of OANDA Corp, will stop offering trading instruments based on INDIA50 (Indian Stock Index 50).
In a notice to its customers, the online broker says that CFDs based on INDIA50 will no longer be offered, effective July 1, 2022.
Customers who have open positions in these instruments are advised to cancel the open interest by the end of trading on July 1, 2022.
In addition, due to the termination, OANDA Japan will stop accepting new orders for INDIA50 on June 2, 2022.
One of the two main stock indices used in India, the India 50 is India’s benchmark stock market index for their equity market. It represents a well-diversified, weighted average of 50 of the most profitable Indian company stocks within 12 sectors.
