OANDA Japan to offer discretionary plan to its clients
OANDA Securities, the Japanese subsidiary of online broker OANDA Corporation, will start offering a new Tokyo server plan – “Discretionary Plan”.
The new plan will become available on October 9, 2023.
The plan will be targeted at traders aiming for a narrower spread than conventional plans (USDJPY only). Clients of the broker can trade from 0.01 lot (1,000 units) in 38 currency pairs.
As this plan is for those who engage in discretionary trading, expert advisors (EA) cannot be used.
The “Discretionary Plan” can be traded with MT4/5. For trading, after logging into My Page, select “Tokyo Server/Discretionary” in “Subaccount List” > “MetaTrade5 Subaccount” or “MetaTrade4 Subaccount”. Please open one using the “Create FX sub-account for plan” button.
Once the creation is complete, you will be given a login ID for the discretionary plan, so please log in to MT4/5.
Your existing Tokyo Server account can continue to be used as the “Tokyo Server/Standard Plan”. It is also possible to use both the “Discretionary Plan” and “Standard Plan”.
