NZ Court places 23 further Chance Voight entities into liquidation
The Financial Markets Authority (FMA) of New Zealand today announced that the High Court ordered the placing of 23 further entities in the Chance Voight group into liquidation.
On 10 September 2026, the Court granted the FMA’s application to liquidate 23 additional entities in the Chance Voight group. The Court found that the active entities (those with bank accounts) are insolvent and unable to pay their debts as they fall due, and that the inactive companies (those without bank accounts) should be placed in liquidation on the grounds that it is just and equitable to so do because it was artificial to see them as separate to the Group and the efficiency of the liquidation process and the other factors warrant their liquidation.
The decision follows an earlier High Court decision placing the group’s parent company, Chance Voight Investment Corporation Limited, and five related companies into liquidation.
Anyone with information can contact the FMA at cvi@fma.govt.nz.
Investors and creditors with questions about the liquidation should contact the liquidators.
