IG Securities, the Japanese subsidiary of electronic trading major IG Group, will stop offering trading in instruments related to the Taiwan Stock Exchange Capitalization Weighted Stock Index (TAIEX).

The changes will also affect CFDs on stocks related to TAIEX and TAIEX-related knockout options.

Effective November 29, 2023, IG Japan will stop accepting new orders for the above-mentioned instruments. Existing positions can remain open.

Effective Friday, December 29, 2023, 1:59 p.m. (Japan time), all positions in the above-mentioned instruments have to be closed.

If there is an unsettled position after the closing time for settlement orders, the price will be based on the price as of 2:00 pm (Japan time) on December 29, 2023 (or the first updated price after the same time).

Additionally, all existing orders will be deleted on Friday, December 29, 2023.
