IG Securities, the Japanese subsidiary of electronic trading major IG Group, today announced that it will remove some functions from its smartphone browser trading system.

New orders, settlement orders, and order modification/deletion for Knockout Options trading will no longer be possible in the smartphone browser trading system. Viewing will be permitted.

The restrictions are set to be implemented from mid-October 2026.

Traders who wish to trade Knockout Options are advised to use the PC trading system or the smartphone app.
