IG Japan launches AI Chatbot
IG Securities, the Japanese subsidiary of electronic trading major IG Group, today announced the launch of “AI Chatbot (Gio)” within its trading platform.
The chatbot is a support function available 24 hours a day. Traders can easily ask questions in a chat format, and it will help them resolve issues smoothly even outside of customer service hours, such as at night, on weekends, and holidays.
AI generates responses based on information posted on the company’s website. It is intended to provide information on account opening procedures and products and services handled by the company, and is not intended to solicit or recommend investments.

Anyone can use this service free of charge, regardless of whether they have an account or not.
With the launch of the AI chatbot service, the brokerage will be gradually discontinuing the acceptance of enquiries through the feedback function within the trading system.
