IG Securities, the Japanese subsidiary of electronic trading major IG Group, today announced it has added US Russ2000 Vanilla Options to its lineup of investment instruments.

IG Securities offers vanilla options for a variety of instruments, including FX, stock indices, commodities, and volatility indices. In August 2026, IG Japan announced the resumption of vanilla options trading for owners of individual accounts.

Today, IG Japan announced that it has begun offering US Russ2000 Vanilla Options (Underlying Asset: Russell 2000 Index) to owners of stock index accounts.

The Russell 2000 Index is a US stock index. It is calculated and published by FTSE Russell as an index of US small-cap stocks.
