IG extends partnership with Melbourne Football Club
Electronic trading major IG announces that its logo will appear front-and-centre on Melbourne Football Club’s AFL guernsey next year.
In a new deal, IG, which first joined Melbourne in 2015, will showcase its long-standing support of the Demons and feature on the club’s AFL guernsey. Its logo will sit front and centre, taking the yoke position for next season and beyond.
It builds on the existing partnership between the two, with IG remaining the club’s List & Recruitment Partner.
IG Australia CEO and Head of APAC Kevin Algeo said he was thrilled to be able to announce a greater level of investment in the IG and Melbourne partnership as it continues into 2023.
“We’re so excited to stand alongside the red and the blue into 2023 and beyond,” he said.

Melbourne CEO Gary Pert was equally as pleased to see the partnership grow.

The yoke position was previously held by New Balance, which remains the club’s apparel partner having recently signed a three-year partnership extension.
