eToro Wallet app to change its name, as eToro Money is coming
Online trading company eToro announces that, as part of the rollout of its new product, eToro Money, the eToro Wallet app is changing its name. The current app known as “eToro Wallet” will be renamed “eToro Money.”
The name change is being made to reflect the addition of eToro Money services to eToro’s existing crypto wallet app, including a cash account, a Visa debit card, plus a number of benefits, which include:
- Swift and easy access to your funds
Get your funds instantly when you withdraw your eToro trading account funds to your eToro Money account.
- Fee-free deposits
Enjoy no conversion fees when using eToro Money to fund your eToro trading account
- eToro Money Crypto Wallet (formerly “eToro Wallet”)
eToro’s digital wallet, still offering all the same functionality. Safely store your cryptoassets in the Crypto Wallet.
- eToro Money Card exclusively for Club members
Use this no-subscription-fee, Visa debit card to spend your funds anywhere, with highly competitive exchange rates — globally, at any time.
eToro notes that all existing eToro Wallet users can rest assured that while the name of the app is changing, no crypto wallet services will be affected. All the crypto wallet functionality that traders are used to will remain, but instead users will find it under the Crypto tab in the newly named eToro Money app.
The addition of eToro Money services, which will be launched in early 2021, will first be available to UK club members as a Beta release, with the EU and other regions gaining access to these services, and all the benefits mentioned above, over time.
