Clients of Cypriot broker Pegase Capital invited to file claims
Cypriot broker Pegase Capital Ltd, which has terminated its investment services, is inviting its clients to submit claims to an escrow agent.
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) today confirmed that Pegase Capital Limited, whose CIF license lapsed on in May 2016, has taken action to settle its obligations resulting from the terminated investment services. The company has set up an ‘escrow account’ and appointed CHRISTYS & CO LLC as escrow agent in order to satisfy any requirements from the company’s clients with regard to investment services that were provided to them.
Clients who may have any claim and/or cash balance owed to them are invited to submit their request/complaint, along with all the necessary supporting evidence, to the company through the escrow agent’s email address at legal@christys.eu and/or andreas.pantelides@christys.eu and/or contact the escrow agent for any information at +357 22358588 – Messrs Charis Christy or Andreas Pantelidi.
The above-mentioned requests/complaints will be accepted from February 10, 2021 until May 10, 2021.
CySEC says that the company will not make any attempt to personally contact its customers.Also, the regulator will not accept any requests/complaints from Pegase Capital’s clients and will not be acting as a mediator for the satisfaction of any claim and/or cash balance owed.
Pegase Capital Ltd provided investment services via the domains www.interactiveoption.com, www.interactive-option.com, www.hellobrokers.com, www.mtxplus.com, www.pegasecapital.com. In May 2016, the company renounced its authorization pursuant to section 24(1)(b) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2007, as in force (the ‘Law’).
