ActivTrades revenues down 12% in 2025 to £33.1M, net profit £1.8M
London based, FCA regulated Retail FX and CFDs broker ActivTrades plc has released its financial results for 2025, indicating lower revenues and profits than a very strong 2024, even as trading volumes and client assets continued to climb.
Revenues at ActivTrades fell by 12% in 2025 to £33.1 million (or USD $44 million) versus £37.6 million in 2024. Following a £4.1 million profit in 2024, ActivTrades earned a profit of £1.8 million in 2025.
At 31 December 2025, the Group’s Shareholder’s funds reduced to £37m (2024: £42m) following dividends in the year of £4.9m (2024: £1.5m).

Client and trading activity
The Group identified 211,828 new potential clients in 2025, of which 18,016 became customers with funded accounts through the year, a 10% rise from 2024. The Group had 29,010 clients actively trading at the end of the year.
During 2025, total deposits from clients totaled £106.3m (2024: £82.8m) and total withdrawals £54.2m (2024: £57.0m). This leaves net deposits 202% up in 2025 at £52.1m (2024: £25.8m). Client money held at the year end amounted to £27,132,088 (2024: £24,258,535).
Monthly trading volume, measured as the total notional value traded by Group’s customers, averaged 45.5 yards (USD bn) for 2025, 11% up from 2024.
Overall strategy
The Group’s strategy is to retain its customer base through providing excellent customer service, as well as reaching out to more customers via direct marketing campaigns and promotions in the local markets in which it operates. The Group will continue to innovate and to provide new financial products for its customers.
As the customer base has become more spread out across the world and demand has continued to grow, the Group has established entities outside of its headquarters in London. It has previously established operations in the Bahamas (2018), Luxembourg (2021) and Portugal (2022) and Brazil (2023).
Market strategy
ActivTrades’ successful marketing approach consists of reaching potential customers through extensive knowledge of customers, target market, research, customer profiling, competitor analysis, demographics, interests and much more.
ActivTrades targets potential customers through a mix of seminars, webinars, trading fairs, social media, targeted online adverts, and adverts in specialised media outlets and financial TV channels.
ActivTrades targets customers who are financially literate individuals with middle to high income, ages 25-65. Within this group ActivTrades seeks to attract investors and speculators with sufficient disposable income or wealth to speculate on a leveraged high-risk product where capital is at risk who either:
a) do not want to use traditional investment vehicles and wish to put part of their savings in high risk financial products; or
b) have an interest in stock markets and other investments with capital at risk and are willing to diversify their exposures to other high risk speculative financial products either for gain or recreational purposes,
Historically, the Group has had a high market share in occidental European countries. In the last few years, the Group has invested more heavily in acquiring clients from within newer markets in particular Latin America, in order to develop the opportunities in these markets to their full potential.
Restructuring
In 2025, the Company underwent a group restructure exercise to streamline its operations. As a result, two previously recognised broker subsidiaries, ActivTrades Corp and ActivMarkets Empresa de Investimento S.A. (with branches in Sofia and Milan), are now direct subsidiaries of ActivTrades Group Ltd, a Guernsey-based holding company and parent of all broker subsidiaries, including ActivTrades Plc, ActivTrades Corp is authorised and regulated by the Securities Commission of the Bahamas (“SCB”) and ActivMarkets Empresa de Investimento S.A. is authorised and regulated by the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (“CMVM”).
The Company has a branch in Bulgaria which performs the IT development and risk management as well as other support services. During 2025, the average headcount in the branch was 123 (2024: 126) with almost half of its employees working in the IT department, which includes software development and IT infrastructure.
