Italy’s Companies and Exchange Commission (CONSOB) has ordered the blocking of the websites of several unauthorized firms.

The websites targeted by the latest set of orders are:

• “Newgrtdeals” (website https://newgrtdeals.com);
• “Piattaformaditradingdielonmusk” (website https://piattaformaditradingdielonmusk.it);
• “Quantum AI Co” (website https://quantumai.co);
• “Quantum AI Platform and Quantum AI Official” (websites https://quantumaipiattaforma.it and https://quantumaiofficial.com);
• “Quantum AI Platform” (website https://quantumaiplatform.com);
• “Orbimount” (website https://orbimount.io and page https://trade.plf-tchb.com);
• “Zeon Global Ltd (website https://zeon-lim.com and page https://my.zeon-lim.com);
• “Hyper-trades” (website https://hyper-trades.com and page https://trade.hyper-trades.com);
• “Vex-Group” (website https://vex-group.pro);
• PO Trade Ltd (website https://po.life);
• Asset Management International Ltd (website https://assetmanagementint.com and page https://clientzone.assetmanagementint.com);
• “FPQuantumAI” (website https://fpquantumai.net);

In issuing the orders, the Commission made use of the powers granted to it by the “Growth Decree” (law no. 58 of 28 June 2019, article 36, paragraph 2-terdecies). This piece of legislation authorises Consob to order Internet service providers to block access from Italy to websites through which financial services are offered without the necessary authorization.

The number of sites blocked by Consob as a whole has risen to 1291 since July 2019, when the Authority was given the power to order the blackout of the websites of abusive financial intermediaries. Last week, Consob ordered the blocking of a number of unauthorized investment websites, including those operated by UCapital Trading and Finanza Expert.

The implementation of the black-out of these websites by Internet service providers is ongoing. For technical reasons, it can take several days for the blocking to be implemented.
