The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has issued a warning against a clone of Eightcap Group Ltd.

Clones are fraudulent entities that abuse the data (name, address, logo, etc) of regulated companies in order to mislead potential victims and lure them into investing with the copycat firms.

The FCA warns that Eightcap VIP is not authorised by the regulator but has been contacting people pretending to be an authorised firm.

If you deal with the clone firm, you won’t have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service if you have a complaint.
