CySEC withdraws license of Conotoxia
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) today announced the withdrawal of the Cyprus investment firm license of Conotoxia Ltd.
The decision was made at a meeting held on December 22, 2025.
CySEC reached the above decision due to the company’s non-compliance with article 22(1) of the Law, as regards the ongoing fulfillment of the authorisation conditions set out in articles 9(2), 9(16), 11(1)(b), 17(2) and 17(5)(b) of the Law, namely in relation to the suitability of a member of its board of directors, the requirement to have at least two persons effectively directing its business activities, the suitability of its shareholder, its organisational arrangements, and consequently no longer fulfils the conditions under which its authorisation was granted.
Let’s note that, on July 23, 2025, the company’s authorisation was suspended.
Due to the withdrawal of Conotoxia’s authorisation, the company must, inter alia:
- Immediately and without any delay, ensure that all references on its websites, and elsewhere, to the provision/performance of investment services/activities, as well as to its licensing and supervision by the CySEC are deleted.
- To investigate and resolve all customer complaints brought before it.
- To ensure that it does not provide investment and ancillary services.
