CySEC withdraws CIF license of Trilt
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) today announced the withdrawal of the Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) authorisation of Trilt Ltd.
The regulatory decision was made at a meeting held on March 20, 2023. The withdrawal is in accordance with section 8(1)(a) of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017 and section 4(7) of Directive DI87-05 and is due to the vompany’s decision to expressly renounce its license.
CySEC has recently withdrawn the CIF licenses of a number of brokerages. In March, the regulator announced the withdrawal of the CIF authorisation of Holiway Investments Ltd, the operator of Milton Prime. In February, CySEC said it had withdrawn the CIF authorisation of MAGNUM FX (CYPRUS) LTD and Inveza Capital, previously known as NFX Capital Cy Ltd and Vinst Capital Limited.
