CySEC reaches €50,000 settlement with Triangleview Investments
The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) has reached a settlement with Cyprus Investment Firm (CIF) Triangleview Investments Ltd.
The settlement concerns the possible violation of the Investment Services and Activities and Regulated Markets Law of 2017 – L.87(I)/2017 by Triangleview Investments. More specifically, the investigation which the settlement concerns, involved assessing, for the period December 2021 until February 2022, the company’s compliance with article 22(1) of the Law as to the authorisation condition laid down in article 17(9) of the Law, regarding the protection of clients’ funds.
The settlement reached with the company is for the amount to €50,000. Triangleview Investments has paid the amount of €50,000.
CySEC notes that all amounts payable relating to settlement agreements are considered revenue (income) of the Treasury of the Republic and do not constitute income of CySEC.
