TradingView introduces ‘Timelines’ to help traders understand the world’s major public cos
Charting app TradingView today announces the launch of “Timelines”, a completely new way to track company history within a pricing chart.
Starting with Tesla, TradingView’s editorial team is mapping the entire history of the most popular public companies to their share price charts – allowing trader to see in real time what sends the stock soaring and what makes it sink. The timelines aim not only to give traders the data they need, they also aim to offer a window into the company itself: its character, themes, goals and dreams.
The TradingView team is planning to roll out Timelines for major public companies over the next year. There are thousands of companies to get through – and the team is asking for help. Anyone who’s interested in joining the community editing project is invited to send a message to the main TradingView account on TradingView and get involved.
TradingView regularly updates its functionalities. Recent enhancements include the addition of new watchlist features. TradingView has added a tool to help traders organize their lists more effectively.
They can now divide their lists into sections and keep analyzing and sorting without fear of jumbled symbols. From now on, sorting takes place within sections. Sections can be named, moved, and deleted – there will no longer be a bunch of symbols in one place.
