Spotware offers fix for cTrader Desktop connection problem
Spotware Systems, the developers of the popular cTrader platform, have confirmed that some users of the app may be experiencing connection issues.
Spotware has determined that the issue seems to have been caused by a recent Windows update. The developers suggest a fix to the problem.

“Dear traders,
We have received lately a lot of reports regarding problems in connecting and singing into cTrader Desktop application. After investigating the reports, the issue seems to have been caused by a recent Windows update. In order to resolve the problem, you need to download the file found here and follow the steps below.
- Double click on the file
- In the pop up that will appear, click Run
- In the next one, click Yes.
- In the last one, click Ok.
