Match‑Trader releases major charts update including 63 new indicators
Match‑Trade Technologies has announced that it has expanded its built-in charting toolkit with a major update to the indicator library in Match‑Trader, adding 63 new indicators to support more advanced technical workflows directly onto the platform. The release introduces 49 technical indicators covering core chart analysis and 14 volume‑based indicators, allowing traders to build consistent, repeatable methods while staying close to execution.
How Brokers and Traders Benefit from the New Indicators
The expanded library provides a much wider set of tools for trend, momentum, volatility, market‑regime assessment, and price structure. This makes it easier to combine complementary signals, validate setups with greater confidence, and reproduce multi‑indicator strategies without leaving Match‑Trader charts. For brokers, the broader native indicator set improves product competitiveness and helps reduce one of the most common reasons more experienced clients keep external charting platforms open.
The update also strengthens activity‑driven analysis through the addition of 14 volume‑based indicators. In Forex and CFD markets, where centralized exchange volume is typically not available, these indicators use tick volume as a practical proxy for market activity. This enables traders to confirm or question price moves by assessing whether breakouts, reversals, and trend continuation setups are supported by increased participation.
The new indicators are integrated directly into the chart workflow. Traders can add and configure them on any chart, then save preferred setups using Indicator Templates.
Indicator Highlights and Use Cases
Volume weighted average price

VWAP is a volume‑weighted average price indicator that shows the market’s intraday value by combining price and activity. Widely used in day trading – especially in equities and crypto – it is seen as a tool associated with institutional funds and algorithms. VWAP helps traders quickly gauge intraday direction, evaluate the strength behind price moves, and spot shifts in participation, without leaving the platform or switching to external charting tools.
Money flow index

Money Flow Index (MFI) is a volume‑aware momentum oscillator that measures buying and selling pressure by analyzing both price and volume. It plots as a line within a 0–100 range: a rising MFI typically signals increasing buying pressure, while a falling MFI points to increasing selling pressure.
MFI is often viewed as a “volume‑based RSI,” so it’s easy for RSI users to adopt. Traders commonly use it to identify overbought/oversold conditions, spot divergences, and monitor failure swings – either to validate price action or to challenge a move when participation looks weak.
Pivot points

Pivot Points Standard is a widely used intraday indicator that automatically defines key price levels where the market may find support or resistance, based around a central pivot. Instead of drawing levels manually each session, traders get a ready-made map of potential reaction zones.
Pivot Points are popular in intraday analysis for their speed and ease of use. As part of the expanded indicator library, they can be added and configured on any chart for more detailed charting.
On balance volume

OBV is a classic volume indicator that links price direction with activity to track buying versus selling pressure over time. It’s calculated cumulatively – adding volume when price closes up and subtracting volume when price closes down. The OBV line can reveal whether participation is building or fading behind a move. OBV is widely used to confirm price trends and to spot divergences, which is why it’s a staple in many popular beginner strategies.
Why This Update Matters
This release, adding 63 new indicators, was designed to make advanced chart work easier to maintain so strategies can be built, validated, and reused without interrupting execution.
“A richer native indicator library is one of the fastest ways to enhance the day‑to‑day trading experience,” said Serhii Poplavskyi, Head of Match-Trader platform at Match‑Trade Technologies. “Our expansion brings more of the charting toolkit traders expect into Match‑Trader itself, helping brokers keep core workflows inside the platform.”
